Police & Crime Commissioners have the statutory responsibility to provide services to support victims cope and recover. The Ministry of Justice have made additional funds available to support victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence through funding additional ISVAs & IDVAs. Surrey was awarded funding from February 2024 to the end of March 2025 for an additional 1.5 FTE IDVAs.

East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services (ESDAS)

  • To award ESDAS £28,167.13 during the financial year 2023/24
  • To award ESDAS £74,952 in 2024/25

The PCC supports the MOJ IDVA/ISVA additional funding and awards the following to ESDAS; 

  • £28,167.13 in 2023/24
  • £74,952 in 2024/25
