Executive Summary:

Police & Crime Commissioners have the statutory responsibility to provide services to support victims cope and recover. The Ministry of Justice have made additional funds available to support victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence through funding additional ISVAs & IDVAs for 2 years (2023/24 & 2024/25). Surrey was awarded funding for 2.5 FTE posts.

Applications for the Grant 

RASASC

To award RASASC £39,602.50 for an additional ISVA.

East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services (ESDAS)

To award ESDAS £72,418.50 for an additional 1.5 FTE IDVA posts

  

Recommendation

The PCC supports the MOJ IDVA/ISVA additional funding and awards the following; 

  • £39,602.50 to RASASC for an additional ISVA
  • £72,418.50 to ESDAS for an additional 1.5 IDVAs
